Membership of the Chamber

Membership of the Chamber is open to all companies, partnerships, trade associations and representative bodies which are involved in commercial activities in Ireland and/or any of the Arab countries. All applications are submitted to the Board of the Chamber for ratification and an Application Form can be obtained from the Chamber’s office or from our web-site. The annual membership fee of the JA-ICC is €250.00 for the calendar year, or €21.00 per calendar month after the 31st January.

Some of the main membership advantages are as follows:

Premium rates for all Chamber services.

Services are provided directly to all members thereby obviating the need to go through a local Chamber in the first instance. This saves time and cost.

Priority access to Chamber staff for advice and assistance, and to all Chambers of Commerce in our 19 affiliated Arab countries.

Introductions to senior personnel in embassies, state organisations, trade associations and commercial enterprises when necessary.

Inclusion in our membership list which is circulated on a quarterly basis to all the major Chambers of Commerce in the 19 Arab countries that we represent.

All trade enquiries, when received, are immediately passed on to relevant members in the first instance.

The Chamber’s visa service for the Arab countries is available to our members only

Members are entitled to attend, and vote at, the Annual General Meeting of the Chamber. This occasion also provides an opportunity to meet other members of the Chamber, as well as companies, and also the Arab and Irish Directors of the Board.

When we receive inward Arab Trade Delegations, the Chamber organises appropriate functions to which our members are invited, and at which they can meet all of the delegation members.

Likewise, members are invited to participate in all group events, which are organised by the Chamber from time to time.

All important trade information which might affect Irish-Arab trade activities, received by the Chamber, is immediately passed on to all of our members.
