Certification Services

The Certification and Documentation Department of the Chamber will certify Certificates of Origin, commercial Invoices and other commercial documents as required for goods being exported from Ireland to any of the member countries of the League of Arab states.

The Chamber also certifies any registration/legal documentation or contracts.

For any shipments going to the 19 Arab countries that our Chamber represents, all documents must be certified by the JA-ICC. Please check with the Chamber regarding legalisation, as some countries insist that all documents are legalised and through our Chamber.

All documents for certification are requested to be submitted before 1.00 pm, as all documents must be checked thoroughly before sending them to the relevant Arab Embassy. Two sets of photocopies of all documents must be accompanied with the originals.

As legalisation fees have to be paid on the day they are presented to the various Arab Embassies in London, you will no doubt understand that we must receive full payment with all documents.

For non-members, your local Chamber of Commerce must stamp all documents before submitting them to our Chamber.

Once the documents are processed by the JAICC, these can either be collected by the exporter or posted out by us. Please note that we use ordinary post, unless the exporter pays for swift or registered post. The Chamber bears no responsibility if documents are either lost by couriers or in the post.

Please note that Embassies rules and regulations can and do change overnight. We bear no responsibility for any such changes. Any changes that do take place will be passed directly to our customers.

We regret that we cannot under any circumstances, intercede or take responsibility for any transactions initiated directly between an exporter and an Embassy.
