Promoting and supporting commercial links between Ireland and the Arab countries

The Joint Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce [JA-ICC] was established in May 1987.

The Chamber is devoted to the encouragement of Arab-Irish trade and economic co-operation. It offers a wide range of services to both Arab and Irish companies.

Please Note:
In light of the present unrest in the Middle East, the JA-ICC will still accept documents for Certification and then Legalisation if required for the 19 Arab countries that we represent. However, if documents are sent for legalisation and for reasons beyond our control the relevant Arab Embassy return same unlegalised, we will endeavour to recoup the legalisation fee from the relevant Embassy. In our experience especially of late, some Embassies do not return the legalisation fees which we sent with the documents. In this case, our Chamber will have no alternate but to pass on the legalisation fee to the exporter.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW SECRETARY-GENERAL

The Directors of the Joint Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ahmad Younis as Secretary-General.

Ahmad is the son of the late RakanYounis who was the founding Secretary-General of our Chamber and who gave seventeen years of his life to bring the Chamber to the present success it enjoys, before his untimely death six years ago.

As Chairman I look forward to working with Ahmad and wish him every success

Louis J. Maguire
