Dr Niall Holohan, new Chairman of the Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce.

Further to the decisions taken at our Annual General Meeting held on 19 September, I wish to inform you that Dr Niall Holohan has been appointed as Chairman of the Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce to succeed Joe Geoghegan who retired from the board after 30 years of service including four years as Chairman.

Dr Holohan retired from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2014. His final posting was as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (and also to Bahrain, Iraq, Oman and Yemen). He had previously been the Irish Government's representative to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah. He has been a member of the Chamber's board since 2015 and brings with him a wealth of experience in the Middle East and further afield.

The Chamber looks forward to your continuing support of the Chamber's activities under Dr Holohan's leadership. We remain available at all times to offer whatever assistance or services you may require.

With my best personal regards,

Yours sincerely,

Ahmad Younis

Secretary-General
