Embassy requirements and legalisation fees
        
All shipments to Qatar must be covered by an Arab-Irish Certificate of Origin and along with an Invoice must be certified by the JA-ICC and then legalised by our Chamber by the Qatari Embassy in London. Please note all shipments for Qatar must be legalised.
Health and Radiation Certificates are often required for food, meat and poultry consignments.
A Halal Certificate stating that slaughter was according to Muslim law must accompany fresh, frozen meat and poultry.
Shipments covering the following goods are exempted from Invoice leglisation fees only. The Embassy will still charge a fee for the Certificate of Origin and any other document which is presented. Our Chamber charges certification fees on all documents.
Medical: For the Ministry of Public Health and Hamad Medical Est. only. Medicine, blood substitutes, all types of immunisation and chemicals

Consumables: Rice, wheat, sugar, flour, milk, fat, fresh fruit & vegetables.

All personal documentation e.g. Degree Certificates or Marriage Certificates must be stamped by the Department of Foreign Affairs before submitting for certification and/or legalisation.
