On the 24th May 2012, The Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Mrs. Alice Thomas Samaan, Ambassador of the Kingdom to Bahrain to the United Kingdom and Ireland to mark the occasion presenting her credentials to President Michael D. Higgins.

The A-ICC dinner event was attended by a specially invited audience of leading Irish business executives and was hosted by Ahmad R. Younis, Secretary-General and CEO of the Chamber.

H.E. Mrs. Alice Thomas Samaan was accompanied by Mrs. Matar, Counsellor at the Bahraini Embassy. The Ambassador delivered a very positive message to Irish business executives that Bahrain strongly welcomed their participation in the country’s economic development and assistance in achieving future prosperity for its people.

22 August 2012 Syrian Embassy,  London

The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in London closed on the 10th August 2012 due to the on-going troubles in Syria. All commercial certificates and registration documents will now be certified only by the A-ICC in the normal way. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with legalisation by the Embassy for the time being. All rules and regulations concerning completing documentation remain the same. Any changes to this will be notified immediately.

Libyan Embassy in London has re-opened

The Consulate at the Libyan Embassy in London has re-opened and is again providing the normal consular services including document legalisation and visa issuing.  Please note that there is no change to regulations or fees.
Consequently the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce has now resumed the delivery of these services for Libya to its clients in Ireland, in addition to the associated Arabic translation services when required.
